FONA, Italian radiology

In the 2000 the company BlueX was born nearby Milano and in few years our company grew up until becoming an international player in our sector.

We created strong international relationships until when we’ve been included in the international group Sirona in the 2007 and later in 2011 our products have been included in a wider products portfolio under the brand FONA.

Our company acknowledge, the production, and the BlueX site have always been part of our culture and in the 2019 we came back to be an independent company. We maintained the name FONA and the acknowledge acquired in the years since the BlueX era.

Through more than 20 years of experience in production, we have more than 10.000 panoramic units and more than 60.000 intraoral generators installed worldwide.

We are certified according to the ISO 9001:15, the ISO 13485:16 and we have an FDA Establishment Registration.

2000

Foundation of the Imaging Manufacturing site in Assago (MI) under BlueX name.

2007

BlueX becomes part of Sirona Group.

2011

Together with other manufacturing sites, the company merged into the brand FONA and expanded its product portfolio.

2019

FONA Italy exits from Dentsply Sirona Group and continues its activity independently producing Imaging Products for Dental professionals.

2020

Launch of the new StarX PRO sensor.

2021

Launch of the new panoramic upgradable to 3D and Ceph one shot product Stellaris 2D/2D Ceph.

2022

New features launch on existing products.
